The Olympics are finally here and we are so excited. Watching athletes who are literally at the top of their game inspires us to strive for more. Anyone who has run a 10K, swum competitively in high school or played any sport can appreciate the time and commitment these athletes have made to reach the level they’re at.
Years ago I got to hear Mary Lou Retton speak at a national sales meeting.
For those who don’t know who she is, Mary Lou Retton was an Olympic gymnast and first female to receive a perfect 10 score on Vault at the 1984 Olympics. Her story of hard work, pain and dedication inspired the entire sales force to work harder.
Over the next two weeks, we will watch swimmers fly through water, gymnasts fly through the air, waterpolo players fly out of the water and runners fly off the ground.
Every athlete at these games will push themselves physically and mentally to achieve their very best. Watching them should inspire us all to do the same in everything we do.
The Olympics makes us reach a little higher and even though we all don’t possess the talent, drive and dedication of these athletes, we can still find inspiration from them to go that extra mile and make our world a little better.
At MAJAMAS EARTH we keep the everyday athlete in mind, designing clothes that combine function and fashion.
We use natural fabrics that wick to keep you cool and dry so you can look as good as you feel. With the Olympics upon us, we are inspired to make conscious clothing that keeps us striving for the Gold!
